QuPath has joined https://forum.image.sc - the open source bioimage analysis forum - as a community partner

This means that the main place to ask questions about QuPath is now https://forum.image.sc/tags/qupath.

Lots of open source applications are represented at image.sc, but tags help keep discussions separated by software. However, the ability to add multiple tags helps encourage discussions across different software applications.

My hope is that this will help link people up with the right software* to solve their image analysis task most effectively and improve sharing ideas.

The old QuPath Google Group remains for posterity because it contains hundreds of discussions that might still be useful. But Google Groups should not be used for new topics in the future.

GitHub Issues has also been used to ask QuPath questions in the past, but I really wish it wasn’t… rather, this should only be for bug reports and occasional feature requests (so it can serve as a todo list of things that need to be fixed).

I hope all user questions about the software will be posted at https://forum.image.sc/tags/qupath from now on, so that this becomes the one centralized place to find answers.

I think the creators of image.sc have done a fantastic job with the forum, and I hope QuPath users will like it as well.

*-Not always QuPath…
